ISRO to increase its launch frequency and manufacturing of satellites

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning important objectives for 2022 and initiatives to enhance the number of satellite launches and manufacturers.
The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (INSPACe), which has its headquarters in Ahmedabad, has begun employing employees from ISRO for prominent positions.
“ISRO is looking at the major tasks that can be accomplished this year and the actions that need to be taken to enhance the number of launches and satellite manufacture,”
said S.Somanath, Chairman of ISRO and Secretary of the Department of Space, to IANS.
According to S.Somanath, the space agency plans to use its rockets the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV), and the future Small Satellite Launch Vehicle to launch more space missions (SSLV).
ISRO is considering increasing the number of launches in the second half of the year.
When asked about the Space Activities Bill, Somanath said it is being created with INSPACe in mind because the last Bill was written before the announcement of space sector reforms and the private sector regulator.
