India began their 2022 home season with a clean sweep against West Indies

India traversed past West Indies to lock a 3–0 win in Ahmedabad on Friday 11th February.
Definitely, India proved itself with a consecutive win in all the two ODI series against WI, the first one being won by six wickets and the second by 44 runs.
The game reflected West Indies’ poor performance due to bad batting in both games. Besides, the third game was indistinguishable.
India chose to bat first, spinning off an appalling performance at the beginning of the game which led to them losing their top three with just 42 runs on board.
The partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant brought balance to the score and boosted the spirit adding more weight to India’s chances of winning.
West Indies, indeed tried their best to come up at par by taking three wickets but received crucial knocks from Washington Sundar and Deepak Chahar.
Nevertheless, India swiftly won the ODI series and lifted the trophy by 96 runs in the 3rd ODI.
